Paying at GOG from the UK
CD Projekt's store sells games without copy protection, so what you buy is yours to install offline. It also offers the longest refund window of any store here.

The GOG wallet
Wallet money does not expire and is kept in separate balances per currency. The cap is the equivalent of US$500. Unused money you added yourself can be refunded within 30 days.
Refunds
GOG will refund a game up to 30 days after purchase even if you have downloaded, launched and played it, though it may refuse people who abuse the policy or offer wallet credit instead. Pre-orders can be refunded before release and for 30 days afterwards.
Why DRM-free matters for value
Games on GOG come without online activation, so you can keep the installer and play without the store running. For long-term ownership that is the strongest protection any store here offers.
Age
You must be 16 to hold a GOG account; 16- and 17-year-olds need a parent's or guardian's approval. GOG does not document purchase-approval or spending-limit tools.
