The rules the desk writes by

Independence

1. We are not paid by the companies whose games, stores or payment services we write about, and we hold no affiliate agreements with them.
2. We do not sell placements in the league table, the face-offs or any list on the site.
3. If that ever changes, the change will be declared at the top of every affected page before it goes live.

Accuracy

1. Facts that can go stale (prices, subscription catalogues, refund terms, payment methods) carry the date we checked them.
2. Every review names its sources. Where two sources disagree we use the platform holder's or publisher's own page and say so.
3. We separate what a source reports from our opinion of it. Scores and recommendations are opinion; we explain the reasoning.

Honest framing

1. We never claim hands-on play we did not do, and we do not publish invented quotes, user reviews or ratings.
2. We describe the in-game shop of every game plainly, including what it sells and whether anything is sold as a random draw. Games that sell paid random items are not eligible for this site.
3. Money guidance is general consumer information for adults. It is not legal or financial advice and we do not recommend borrowing to pay for games.

Who we write for

Players in the United Kingdom, paying in pounds, buying from UK storefronts. Where a store behaves differently for UK accounts than elsewhere, the UK behaviour is the one we describe.
