Paying at Epic Games Store from the UK
Epic's PC store matches Steam's refund window and adds a purchase PIN, but it publishes less detail about UK payment methods than its rivals.
Accepted payment methods

Account balance
The Epic balance is capped at the equivalent of US$500, and the balance itself cannot be refunded. Refunds of eligible purchases can be taken as balance.
Refunds
Games marked as refundable can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if you have played for less than two hours; pre-purchases can be refunded any time before release. Virtual currency and most in-game items are not refundable. Epic says that if a recent purchase goes on sale while it is still refundable, refunding and buying again is allowed.
Parental controls
A six-digit PIN can be required for every purchase with money, whatever the payment method. Players under 13 have a daily spending limit of US$100 that only the PIN can override.
